Highway Patrol Subdivision Guidelines

In order to be eligible to create a sub-division within the Highway Patrol you must have obtained the rank of Trooper First Class or higher. Below you will find a list of documents and other necessary items you will need to run a successful sub-division.

 

What you will need:

  • Standard Operation Procedure- A document outlining the purpose, job description, training protocol, and core operation procedures during patrol.

  • Roster- A constructed list detailing the members of your subdivision, this list should be accessible to the public and should list the following details:

    • Member Name

    • Rank (within sub-division)

    • Status (Active, LOA, etc.)

  • Vehicle Structure- A document outlining vehicles and/or special liveries used during patrol.

  • Weapon Structure- A document outlining any special weapons (if any) that are carried on the trooper or in their patrol-car.

  • Uniform Structure- A document outlining any uniforms (if any) that troopers will wear during patrol.

 

Submitting documents for review:

Once you have all of the items above completed you will need to send all of them up the Chain of Command. You will be spoken to by a member of the CoC on behalf of your sub-division if it was approved or denied.

 

** NOTE THAT IT IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COC AS IN LIEUTENANTS, CAPTAINS OR ANY OF THE ADMIN COMMAND STAFF TO DENY YOUR SUB DIVISION AND ITS IDEA SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK THE NEXT MEMBER OF THE COC IF THE DIVISION WAS DENIED **
